Mango Jam with a Cheeky Ginger Twist

Ingredients

2 1/2 juicy mangoes (70 %), ginger (5 %), sugar, lemon juice, Natural Apple pectin.

We source our mangoes from the beautiful land of Mexico, famous for the Fajita and of course Speedy Gonzales!  They are selected for their sweet, firm and non-stringy texture - perfect for jam making! And they are naturally high in sugar, which means we don't have to add much. In fact, most jams contain around 64g of sugar per 100g of jam - our mango only contains 34g - almost half! So as well as being seriously scrumptious, it's actually healthier than most of the others.

We like to be a bit adventurous with our flavours so we also gave it a bit of a ginger twist. As well making our jam taste really nice, Ginger is like the Godfather of all super-foods and we'd need a few extra pages to list the benefits - but if you're interested, take a look here.

We've added a bit of natural apple pectin to the Mango jam, that's just because the mangoes are so juicy so it's quite runny and if we didn't it could slide off your toast. Not much fun before you go to work.

Mango Jam is scrumptious with a nice bit of cheese or you can try it for breakfast with your toast or porridge.
